How Do I Write the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy for a Website?

Of course it is possible to write your own terms and conditions and privacy policy but the question is--are you experienced enough to draft a legal document that covers all the rules a user must abide by in order to use your website?

The issue with using a template is that it may not be specific to your particular service and may leave out certain terms that are vital enabling trust between you and your users. i.e., you mentioned storing emails and phone numbers-- when do you collect them? What do you do with it? What if there is a breach? How do you succulently spell all this out in your ToS?

You can figure all this out yourself,  but then again, what is your time worth? Are you better off thinking of how to craft your terms of service or focusing on how to take your business to the next level.
